It stretches over a total length of 6292.5 meters and was entered in the Guinness Book of Records as the longest cable car routes on three cables, but also for the largest distance between the departure and arrival station – 1410 meters.
The system connects the mountain Fansipan in Lao Cai province, about 250 km northwest of capital Hanoija. The cable car for an hour can carry 2,000 passengers, each cabin can accommodate 35 people.
From the valley to the mountain trip takes 15 minutes, and capacity building of the cable car began in November 2013.
