Rogoznica in Dalmatia region is a seaside resort situated 34 kilometres south of Sibenik and it is also one of the most suthern points of the Sibenik-Knin County. It is linked to Sibenik and Split by the Adriatic Highway. Rogoznica area is traditional tourist centre which combine tradition of local inhabitants with modern tourist developments such as Marina Frapa. Holiday apartments and accommodation facilities offers all necesary elements for visitors. Central Dalmatia's Rogoznica is a good combination of peaceful family vacations wand rich night life. One part of Rogoznica lies on the coast and is called Kopaca while the other was originally an island that has been converted into a peninsula. Rogoznica is also a well-protected port specialized for all kind of boat and ships. This fishing area is perfect holiday destination. There is a thick pinewood and a long promenade. In a Rogoznica there is also a post-office and health centre. Art Beach is a rocky beach and is next to the bridge. The beach is not suitable for families with small children and non-swimmers. Not far from the beach, there is a centre with restaurants and shops. Pebbly beach Miline is located in the centre of Rogoznica. The beach is located in a sheltered bay, access to the sea is easy, so the beach is ideal for families with small children. In the season it is very visited, so it can get quite crowded. Near the beach there are cafes and restaurants. Sepurina beach is a pebble beach with a Blue Flag – an international award for quality of service and cleanliness. Rogoznica is a quiet Mediterranean town, whose center lies on a peninsula that is the former island of Koper, connected to the mainland by an artificial mound in the second half of the nineteenth century. Most of the island is covered with forests while the populated area is characterized by old stone houses reflecting the spirit of the old Mediterranean. The town is known as one of the most beautiful and safest ports, which is why boaters like to visit. The locals engage in farming, fishing and tourism. Be sure to visit the cultural heritage of Rogoznica: church of St. Nicholas, church of St. John of Trogir, the parish church of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Heaven, Our Lady of the Chapel and the remains of fortifications built by the French at the top of the town. It is believed that the Rogoznica field was a Greek colony Heraklea. Of natural phenomena, visit the salt lake called "Dragon's Eye." Rogoznica is known for its beautiful pebble, concrete and stone beaches where everyone can find their niche.

The town has its own marina, marina Frapa, situated in the Soline bay and owns 400 high class boat moorings. Sports lovers can enjoy numerous water sports, hiking and many other activities. Bogović Tumburko, while catching fish around the Cape Peninsula Gradine in 1722, found a painting showing Mary visiting her cousin Elizabeth. Locals along with then priest decided to build a chapel on that same place. The black measles epidemic in 1887 took up to 40 lives a day in Rogoznica. The faithful decided to put an end to this suffering, leave barefoot to the shrine of Our Lady, and from that day (24 January) people stopped dying and the sick were healed. Be sure to visit, Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary to Heaven: The original parish church of St. Nicolas, consecrated by the Bishop V. Arrigoni on May 11th, 1615. It was enlarged in 1683rd and given the name of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary to heaven. "Dragon's Eye" salt water lake - a natural phenomenon. The lake has a distinctive flora and fauna. Was created after the last ice age, about 10,000 years.

Rogoznica is 34 km distant from Sibenik and it is the southest part of Sibenik - Knin county. It is connected to Sibenik and Split by Adriatic road. Rogoznica counts today 750 inhabitants. First imigrants came in 1390 year to Rogoznica - Kopaca on the land, and the nearest island Kopara, on which people searched for shelter from the Turkish army, was inhabited in 1518 year. On the island in 1809 during French occupation was built a castle. Year 1912. island was merged to the land, with a dike 320 m long that eased the access to the place and accelerated its development. Extension of culture and civilisation on this area has left many monuments, and spirits of Mediterranean and Europe have been felt at every corner. Many monuments give evidence to tradition and life on the island. Church Assumption of Mary 1746. y. and church St. Nicholas from mediaeval age are most significant cultural monuments. Rogoznica is even today typical Mediterranean place whose inhabitants are mostly occupied by fishing, agriculture and tourism. Thanks to preserved atmosphere of typical, quite Mediterranean place Rogoznica offers to its inhabitants and visitors peace and relaxation, fully opposite to urban rushes of modern life.

Very near there is a Dragon’s eye lake - a natural phenomenon. It is known as the safest harbour on this part of Adriatic so it is safe as well as for little and for big boats. In Rogoznica you can find marina "Frapa", one of the most beautiful marinas on Adriatic. Marina has 300 berths. Accommodation in Rogoznica you can search in many private apartments. Here there are post office, ambulant, many shops, café bars, disco, many natural beaches and pebble beaches and of course marina "Frapa".

Evenings of Dalmatian chanson in Šibenik - event which gathers many klapa performers. During the season in Rogoznica various events are organized, and the most important is certainly the traditional Rogoznica fishing night. In the evenings we recommend walking along the beach and relax in one of the bars with cold cocktails.

Za one koji se žele zabavljati do ranog jutra preporučujemo odlazak u noćni klub Aurora u Primoštenu. Rogoznica je poznata po marini i luci za koje se kaže da su najljepši i opremljeni na cijelom Jadranu i zato se posjećuje tijekom cijele godine. Unutar ove uvale napravljen je umjetni otok kako bi se poboljšala njegova marina koja odgovara 300 brodova na obali i 100 brodova povezanih s obalom. Noćni život Rogoznice odvija se u Marini Frapa, a u Primo1tenu postoji disko klub Aurora (jedan od najvećih disko klubova na Jadranu).
