It is the city of the green beauty – the river Neretva – which has been connecting the two parts of the city for centuries and on whose shores the greatest builders have been building their bridges, beautiful buildings such as the Old Bridge for which the city got its name and became well known in the world getting the protection from UNESCO, and gaining the world reputation.

Sports and nature Each year in July Mostar’s old bridge, Stari Most, turns into a big diving stage. During the spectacular Ikari bridge jumping, divers compete for the title of this high diving competition. The mountain river Neretva in the canyon downstream from Konjic, is an incredible and unique experience, the experience that rises the adrenaline in the blood of the rafters. With its shape it resembles the soft-mouthed trout, the tipycal resident of this river. The length of the rafting way on the Neretva from Glavaticevo to Konjic is approximately 23km. The river has a canyon and cascades, seen when descending. In the upper flow from Glavaticevo to Bjelinic, the river represents a kind of health resort frequently visited throughout the year.In the downstream of the Neretva where rafting ends in the village of Dzajici 4km to Konjic, there is a beach open and visited throughout the year. Do not forget to take the amazing road to Sarajevo by train, along the Neretva and crossing the mountains.
